JUST LIKE HOME
During his (or her) stay here, your pet will be treated the only way we know how to: with tenderness and love. Animals is our passion and this service is in fact very special to us because it gives us the unique opportunity to enjoy many different pets with all their unique personalities and this is a great joy for us.

Your pet will stay with us in our home, an apartment located in 980 Seymour St, Downtown Vancouver. You can check the exact location here.

The floor is almost all carpet, so it’s comfortable for them to walk around with their little paws without getting too slippery. You can check some photos of our home here.

We only take one Pet per time, with very few exceptions like for example two cats from the same person. We currently don’t have any other pet living with us, so your pet gets all the attention 🙂

It’s important to mention that we work during the day 4 days per week, which means that your furry friend will be alone in the apartment during daytime in this days (probably from 9:30AM to 6:30PM).

During the stay we will be able to provide you live video Broadcasts of your pet using appear.in, its a pretty easy-to-use app/website because it requires no account or registration, you just need the link to the broadcast and you can access it and interact with it just using a regular web browser.

We will also post videos of your pet here in our YouTube channel protected with a password that you will choose, so only you can have access to it. If you want it, we can also leave it public(unprotected) so you can send the link around to anyone who wants to watch it.

You will be able to communicate with us easily through our phones, SMS messages, Whatsapp, Facebook messenger, e-mail and Skype.

If you are not out of town during your pet stay, you will also be able to visit how many times you want!

FREEDOM and comfort
Unless you specifically ask us otherwise, your pet will have access to every room and furniture he wants to. Some pets like to sleep by themselves in their own little beds, others like to sleep in the couch and others like to sleep in the bed with us. We will let your pet free to pick the place he wants to sleep and the spots he likes to hang around during the day. If you want us to impose restrictions, just let us know.

We have a drinking fountain available that provides a fresh stream of water, pets also love that because the water tastes a lot better than “still” water in a bowl. They drink more and its great for their health.

We also have a litter box available for your pet to use, so in this case you don’t need to bring your own box or litter.

Special features for dogs
Dogs require a little bit of walking so they can have some fun and also attend to nature’s call 😉
Therefore we will provide at least two walks a day for your dog included in his stay.
We will take him/her to some small parks nearby and also eventually to the Nelson Park. We will give preference for off-leash fenced areas.
WHAT’s NOT INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE?
The personal items for your pet’s well being must be provided by you. Examples of items:
- The regular food he is used to eat (mandatory)
- His personal leash and “poop bags” (mandatory for dogs)
- Treats/Snacks
- His toys
- His little bed
We can also give him baths while he’s here. Baths are charged extra 15 CAD.
